Each time it says I need to update however windows update fails, silverlight site stand alone installer fails.
Say's windows cannot locate the file, or cannot access installer.
I have tried all I know including un-installing and cannot locate file.

This could be due to the corrupted installation of the existing version of Silverlight on the computer.
So, we need to uninstall it completely from the computer and then try reinstalling it.
