border printing problem

When I use Word 2010 to create a border around text or a picture the border will not print.
It shows on the preview page but will not print.
I didn't have this problem when I first purchased the Office Home and Student 2010 software.
This is a recent problem.
2007 word documents print fine.
Any suggestions?

Go to File | Options | Display.
Under "Printing options," make sure that "Print drawings created in Word" is checked.
If you have created a border as a "background," then you'll also need to check "Print background colors and images."
 
If you are actually seeing the border in Print Preview (not Print Layout view) and it is not printing, then the issue is with your printer.
