Everything seemed to be running well on my new laptop which I received yesterday.  I was closing down and I was told not to switch off as 59 updates were being installed.  The computer ultimately turned itself off.  When turned on again the desktop picture
appeared with no start button,no task bar and no desktop icons.  At the bottom of the screen are the Windows Flag and the words 'Windows 7 starter'.  The curser moves as normal but there is nothing to click on.
Please Advise.
