An inserted arrow is hiddenin word doc (office 2007), but can be seen in google.doc and converted pdf file, how to delete it in word doc?

There is an inserted arrow hidden in my doc with endnote.
It can't be seen on the file, even when converted to plain text file in office (which means the without the endnote code), it can't be seen on the file (as displayed in what follows).


But once converted to pdf file, it will be displayed as follows (the black arrow in the middle):


This arrow can be seen if the file without endnote code is open in google doc online.

i need to remove the arrow in the endnote file, how can i achieve it?
