Solution to Error: Asus g50vt-x5 windows 7 random disconnects from network, but connected?

Asus g50vt-x5 windows 7 random disconnects from network, but connected?

Ok so I have the Asus g50vt-x5 with windows 7 x64 ultimate edition installed with all the latest updates.
My adapter is a 5100 AGN.
I will be randomly browsing the internet (with comcast high speed internet) or playing a game perfectly and all of a sudden,
it will just stop receiving data.
Sometimes if I'm playing a video game, it will very quickly drop the connection and reconnect.
but my ping just skyrockets for that time im not getting internet (like 2000+).
And sometimes, it will just occasionaly get a delayed
lag (around 200 ping) for a few seconds.
Its VERY anoying.
What i can't figure out is that it doesn't necessarily disconnect (sometimes, it does completely connect and reconnect occasionally), it keeps the connection, stable and i'm getting full bars on the windows toolbar, I have firewall disabled.
I have AVG
anti virus as well as Spybot Search and Destroy antivirus programs running, I always do matinence on my computer.
Run CCleaner for registry errors, etc.

Whats weird is that if i flip off my internet switch, then back on, then wait for awhile for the connection it will start working again.
This applies as well to hitting "disable" then re-enabling it in the device manager or just reinstalling device drivers,
only to come up again shortly later (can be as quick as 10 minutes, can be as long as like a few hours).

Speaking of drivers, I originally had the Asus drivers from the webpage (supposed to be the latest) but when I started encountering this problem, I went to the Intel website, found the latest drivers for my adapter and installed them.
Still not fixing
the issue.
I'm stumped and quite frankely, pissed off.
What the **** microsoft! I got my computer all personalized with music, settings programs games and everything, the least thing i want to do is reinstall windows.
I dont want to, but maybe i should move
to a mac.

On a side note: i have tested this on 3 different routers, and 2 different connections (my step dad borrowed a different one to see if it would fix the issue).
The problem persists on all the routers (WEP and WA2-PSK).
And the wired connection works perfect.
Not a single disconnect on a corded connection.
Another here: http://hardforum.com/showthread.php?t=1512953 had the same problem, with the same laptop, but found no solution.
I'm begging you microsoft, save my life from pc hel l, cause quite frankly, i can't
take it anymore.

Hi Aspen1135,
Since it happens with different routers, the problem is with his wireless card, driver, or interference with the wireless signal.
As you have updated the driver, check for any other electronics or appliances in the path of the wireless, if there is a clean path, the card is likely failing.
