I'm running Windows 7 Home Premium (64 bit) and Internet Explorer 8.
I'd like Internet Explorer to always open maximized whether I open it from the desktop or from a link; it is now inconsistent.
Can you help me?

"Grab" the corners of the remaining window with your cursor and "stretch" it to the desired size but do NOT maximize it! Now close the resized window.
