I upgraded my computer from 32 bit Windows XP to 64 bit Windows 7.
Before the upgrade everything worked fine.
Ever since, however, my computer will randomly and abruptly completely shut down - its as if someone pulled the power cord.
It almost always happens
when I do something that causes my computer to use more system resources - such as when playing videos as full screen, copying lots of files from one drive to another, playing games, etc.
Whenever I'm just using the computer to look at pictures, surf the web,
etc, it works perfectly fine with no problems.

I thought maybe it was a memory problem, but I have 2 gigs, and while I know that's not a lot everything I've read on-line says I should be fine.
I also thought perhaps my CPU was overheating, so I installed SpeedFan, which gives me the following numbers: GPU:
52C, Temp1: 42C, Temp2: 48C, Core 0: 46C, Core 1: 46C.
I don't know if those numbers are good or not.

If you get no system message but the machine just shuts down, you probably have a dust clogged CPU cooler.
The system is shut down because the motherboard CPU temperature sensor detects that the CPU is overheating.
