Acer Aspire AOD150 KAV10 Notebook

My Notebook starts up fine, but after about 20 mins.
of normal usage, the screen goes totally blank.  After a short time the screen re-appears in parts, before going blank again and this continues to happen.
I have tried un-installing and re-installing the video drivers, but this does not resolve the problem.
The Notebook is running Windows 7 and has a single module of 2Gb.
memory.
Can anyone help me in solving this problem please?
I am NOT very Technically minded, so easy steps would be appreciated,
