Adding MS Office 2003 to new PC with Windows 7 and MS Works

I just purchased a new PC with Windows 7 and MS Works and have a license on my old PC for MS Office 2003.  Can I load Office 2003 to my new PC?  Is it compatible with Windows 7?  Does the license allow this? Or must I buy a new license for the latest version
of Office?

Under Windows 7, you can buy, install, and run Office
2003, 2007, or 2010.
You can also run compatible software instead,
