Can't download Adobe Flash _Player computer freezes

I just got windows 7 64bit  installed on my PC and it was done at a computer store for me.
I am trying to install programs,but ran into couple of issues.
Firstly flash player....
I did every thing i could do from adobes' help tabs.
I am NOT running 64
bit on my explorer,BUT 32 bit Graph exe .
I have done  several does and donts' from adobe and still nothing, what happens is i start to download the "download manager" but nothing happens, most of the time the page just freeze.
How do i 2nd hard disk not recognized by Windows 7 after Windows update go around this.
? i even down
loaded a older version and try to install it manualy, nothing happens.  It shows its downloaded and i unzip and install it too, but try to go  to you tube and it still tells me i need to install adobe !!! I try to set my security level from med-H to med.
it
does not allow me to.
it keeps it on med-h and i think that might be the issue as active controll does not kick in.
HELP PLEASE
