I finally realized that no matter how much is deleted from the C: drive, there is still that *factory image* drive which is D now completely red and I have only 300 or so MB left.
What happened? Says I never made a complete backup, so I bought the recovery
disks from Manufacturer, installed another HD at their suggestion, spent so much money in taking this machine to disreputable computer shops, and still don't know how to get things back to factory settings.
I have a drive with 287GB...got an external HD which
holds 320GB, and I don't know how to proceed.
Additionally, many of the HP troubleshooting software is missing or corrupted so the PC-Doctor is an old version and I just want to get this computer back to the way it was when I got it last May, which by the
way, the warrentee expired a few days ago, and now I can't do anything without paying another chunk of money to them.
Is my machine destroyed?
