Windows 8.1 - Issues with DISM & SFC

So the root problem I am trying to fix is a power issue.
 My computer isn't going to sleep.
 In my attempts to resolve this issue I appear to have uncovered more significant issues.

First I found a recommendation to run sfc /scannow

1.
  sfc /scannow returns - Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service.

After searching that error I found that the fix for this is usually to check to make sure that Windows Modules Installer is running.
 It is.



2.
 A recommendation to fix that problem was to run Dism.exe /online /cleanup-image /restore health

Unfortunately this command returns another error.

I read something which made it look like I needed to run the command from the SysWOW64 directory to get the 64 bit version of Dism which I tried with the same error returned.

I am not a current fan of this 8.1 update.
 What happened?  None of the tools work.

I was under the impression that I was running command prompt in admin mode.
 Either the problem resolved itself or the way I was opening command prompt wasn't working as expected (I use Launchy and I was hitting Ctrl + Shift + Enter after hitting cmd.
 I received the admin prompt and everything)  I didn't use the Windows + X command.
 The scan is running now so issue resolved :)

The power issue appeared to be resolved this morning as well.

Running System Update Readiness Command

On running the System Update readiness Command, it will Detect & Replace Incorrect Registry data with the Correct one. Which may ultimately Solve Windows 8.1 - Issues with DISM & SFC in Windows.

1. Open CMD as Administrator by Simply Right Clicking on Start button > Command Prompt (Admin).
2. Now Type or Copy paste "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth" and hit Enter,
3. Now again Type or Copy paste this "DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth" and hit Enter.
4. Close the Command Prompt Window because we are done.

Try and see if you still get the same error Windows 8.1 - Issues with DISM & SFC in your Windows.

Note: You may be prompted to enter your administrator's password when you try to execute certain system tasks!
